2 Medallion Steaks
Salt and pepper
1 large shallot
3/4 mug of red wine
2 - 3 tablespoons of butter cubed
Heat oil in frying pan and add shallots and cook until golden brown. Add the wine and boil until slightly syrupy and then remove from the heat. Whisk in the butter one piece at a time to make a glossy sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste and pour into sauce dispenser.
Add steak to frying pan and cook each side for 2 minutes.. Slice the steak against the grain and serve with the sauce.
