As a kickboxing instructor I'd like to think that I was relatively fit, but it turns out Pilates is a sight harder than I thought! However, having gone through the initial learning curve (or was that pain barrier), my overall fitness has improved, and there has been a distinct improvement in some of my kickboxing techniques, which I put down to improved core stability.
